VATRA aims to make its website accessible and welcomes reports of barriers. This statement describes current intentions and known testing needs; it is not a compliance certification.

VATRA intends its website to be usable by visitors with diverse access needs. The project includes semantic sections, labeled inquiry fields, keyboard-operable native details elements, visible focus treatments for shared navigation, and reduced-motion preferences in page styling. This is an ongoing objective, not a claim of verified WCAG 2.2 AA conformance.
Known review areas
Keyboard operation, screen-reader announcements, color contrast, focus order, mobile menu behavior, third-party reCAPTCHA controls, form errors, and page-specific layouts still require manual testing. Some archival display areas are typographic reserves rather than digitized historical documents.
Requesting an accommodation or reporting a barrier
Use the Contact page and select “Other” or “General Institutional Inquiry” to describe a barrier. Please include the page address and the task you were attempting; do not send sensitive medical information. No response time is promised until approved by VATRA.
Ongoing improvement
The Federation should review reported barriers, provide meaningful alternatives where appropriate, and update this information as testing and fixes are completed.
